When we got to see the Dr. He talked to her, pressed around on her belly and said he thought it felt good, but that her levels were still way high. He had hoped they'd come down a little faster, but they are coming down. Bad news, she still has at least another week on her "nutrients" and no food, drink, nothing. She was so hopeful. We all were so hopeful. Kauri handled it good, with her sweet smile. Laura didn't handle it so good. When they got in the elevator, she fell apart, and just hugged Kauri, saying how sorry she was.
Kauri wanted to go to Ikea. She'd never been there and knows her sister, Savanna loves that store, so we took her there. She'd like to get a new bedspread, so we looked. We past the cafeteria or food place, and she insisted we go eat, it was lunch time, and we needed to eat. After all she had her food all the time. Eating in front of us. So we reluctantly did, as quick as we could. We wandered a bit more, but she was getting tired.
Kauri, back, giving her Family Home Evening Lesson! It was a great lesson, from a great teacher. |
Oh bummer! Well you'll really appreciate food when you can eat again. Keep feeling better. Love you!
