The JOYS of being home

When Kauri got home from the funeral, she was so tired. It was such a wonderful meeting, and Kauri was so thankful she got to go.  She said she felt like Heavenly Father answered her prayers to be able to go, even though it was probably the hardest thing she's ever done.   But between just getting up and going in the morning, driving home, and everything else, she was wiped out physically, mentally and emotionally.  (She was being buoyed up spiritually in so many ways).  After the funeral, she slept for about 4 hours.  It was good because the nurse was coming to help us hook her PICC line.   She finally came.  Kauri will be just fine. Kauri was getting nourished (that's what they say the stuff in the bags does for her),  and she felt a lot better.

Laura was really good at being a nurse.
This is Kauri's food, for a while.  Yummy.
 Going outside...
Back home with some of the family!
Annika's got Kauri's back.... (pack, with all her yummy food in it).   I hope Annika doesn't forget she has the back pack on, and pull Kauri when she doesn't want to be pulled.
