Good, HUNGRY, day!

 Kauri went to Church today, she planned on just going to Sacrament Meeting, but was talked into staying.  I hope it wasn't too much for her.  She was pretty weak and tired after the 3rd hour.  Kauri bore her testimony today.  We felt the spirit so much, as she spoke of her love for Heavenly Father and thanking everyone who has been so kind, loving and caring and prayerful in her behalf as well as the others in the accident.  She tearfully said she didn't understand really what had happened, but felt the love of the Lord.  She said she hoped to live her life, so one day she can see Gabe again. 

Yes, it was Fast Sunday, so we didn't eat in front of Kauri, and we thought she was eating in front of us all day.  Well, just before we thought it was time to give her new full bags of "nutrients" Kauri realized her bag was still heavy for this time of day.  Apparently Kauri has been fasting with us.  Somehow her backpack was kicked or something, and the batteries had fallen out of the pump.  She hasn't had her TPN for 21 hours.  The pump wasn't on, therefore, it wasn't pumping.  Poor Kauri.  No wonder she was getting ravenous, and even put something in her mouth, then hurried and spit it out.  She still is being such a good sport about this food thing.  For someone who loves food as much as Kauri, she's doing AMAZING!  So, still, she is hanging in there.  She even has a big smile, still.
