We got to TOSH in Murray and they got her in real quick. After trying to figure out the best way to get her in a hospital gown with the PICC line we got it figured out, with the help of Mom. She's become a nurse of sorts. They came to put in the IV. The nurse tried twice in her hand. Using litacane then putting in the IV. Neither one worked. So they called in another nurse and she tried the 3rd time. And it didn't work. Kauri just sat there so brave. The nurses were embarrassed. We felt a little bad for them. A third nurse came in and was able to put it in after 4 tries and 3 IV needles sticking out because they didn't have the time to to wrap them up. Now we're just waiting. Apparently it was harder because of the PICC line, she is probably a little dehydrated and so her veins are kind of not as big.
