It's been a year!

Well, here it is 1 year from the accident.  It's been a very long, hard year, but there have been many tender mercies that we have all seen and experienced.  Kauri is doing well.  She still struggles with back pain, as well as horrible stomach aches.  She has learned to work with them, and not let them control her.  Her faith and determination are great examples in everything she does.  Things aren't easy, but she doesn't let it stop her.  She still struggles a lot with her Brain Injury.  She says sometimes she doesn't feel like the same person.  Some of her personality traits are way different than the Kauri that got in the car that day.  But we love the new Kauri.  Whether it all comes back or not, as we all work to adjust to the changes, we will continue to realize we walk softer, and appreciate all that we have, and have learned through this experience.  Thanks for all the love, support, prayers and caring you have given us all.  We have felt the love and prayers of many.  We hope we can always strive to bless others lives as you have ours.
